India is a vast Country with varied background and culture.Cows in India are considered to be sacred from very early days of ancient sages.Even in Bhagavatam scriptures there are instances where Desi GauMata are reverred and Lord Krishna himself stated that We can please him with Devotion towards Cow.
Ever since Hinduism has been invaded by other Extremist there has been slow increase in meat eating of Cow.So this leads to Clash among the Society about their priorities in Life.
Various political parties in India have tried to politicize the Cow And it’s protection to their own interest with small percentage of leaders being exception.
There needs to be a mass movement towards Sympathy towards Cow. Maintaining Gaushalas is not an easy task.Everyday there is fixed expense to maintain Cows and also Varied expense depending on Cows Health.
In India Gaushalas work with Donors money.Eventhough recently there has been efforts by the Gaushalas to sustain themselves by making and different Cow related products.But it’s yet to receive mass acceptance.
People who can afford to donate should donate to various Gaushalas in India.Entrepreneurs should come forward and market Gau products.There should be a regular exercise of creating awareness about Cow protection in India.
If you have farm then the profit generated from growing other crops can help sustain Cows.Still lot of people in India are dependent on these methods
Overall it’s a great satisfaction to maintain Goumatha which one derives.
